Celebrating Gemma's life and sharing treasured memories

Gemma was so loved. She was the most extraordinary mother, a beloved friend, daughter and wife, and a brilliant colleague. Gemma lived life on her terms, a life that was full of adventure, bursting with fun and laughter, and was meticulously organised, even to the end. She was thoughtful about the world around her, she loved wildlife and animals (especially rabbits), she was a committed vegetarian and always made ethical choices. What she wanted most was to bring her darling Freddie up to lead a full and happy life. This website is dedicated to her memory, and intended to capture memories that can be shared with Freddie as he grows older. Please do leave your thoughts...keeping Gemma's memory alive for Freddie is the best gift that we can give her now.

Gemma made a request for no flowers at her funeral, and instead to raise money for two charities: Breast Cancer UK and Farleigh Hospice. Please use this site to make your donations.

Gemma was also a very private person. Whilst this is an available to all website, please be respectful about how you share it, certainly not on social media. Please feel free to share privately with anyone who you feel would make a positive contribution...in fundraising and/or in memories. Whilst Gemma made a small invite list to her funeral (conscious of not being the centre of attention) we know that she had so many friends and colleagues who cared deeply for her.

Thank you for loving Gemma, and for making her world a better place. You can carry on doing this in the future...just ask yourself 'what would Gem do?'
